Another teaser for Dark Light: Survivor has dropped to show off how this version of Dark Light will dig into a multiverse again
The roguelike fun is coming back with a fun bit of tease in Dark Light: Survivor. The next title that Mirari & Co are working on for the PC that is not only going to be giving us some of that gameplay loop bits but also to mix things up in other ways too. Specifically in the visuals as it looks like it will have the cinematic modes that modern games have but then offer up a “pixel mode” to give it all a different look and feel. We are not talking about just a screen overlay for Dark Light: Survivor too, but in something that will do more than just put us back in the past with the grainer look to the visuals. That is a part that has me truly intrigued for this…
The big push for Dark Light: Survivor is that we heading into a new multiverse out there where humans have been decimated by some kind of creatures that are aiming to fracture things even further. As part of the last ones out there, we are tasked with trying to find our way to the fabled Elysium that these things cannot get to or corrupt. Along with some of the others of the human race out there. All as we go shooting and switching between points of view for our character. Sometimes it looks like we will be going with the over-the-shoulder camera and other, in the Pixel Mode, giving us a top-down look for Dark Light: Survivor. An interesting shift to it all while still keeping the visuals that feel right at home for a modern title out there too. It is hard to describe in words, so just have a look at the latest teaser to get us all riled up.
