Another bit of House Of The Dead fun is on the way back to us all with the announcement for The House Of The Dead 2: Remake
It looks like we all loved the first remake that was out there that now we have The House Of The Dead 2: Remake on the way to us all now. I mean, Megapixel Studio and Forever Entertainment did an amazing job bringing us the previous remake to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC that it would make sense for them to bring the next one back to us all. Even if we do need to wait until the Spring of this year to see how The House Of The Dead saga continues in our homes. Those of us who were able to play the originals in arcades might know how it all goes, but that was half a century ago, so it would be understandable if we all forgot some of that along the way.
Just like the previous remake for The House Of The Dead, this one is bringing the classic rail-shooter to us with all the glamor of the modern graphics, audio, and multiple endings that we could have expected out there. The co-op is still in there and all of the music will have the remaster treatment too. Even if there will be an option to play with all of the original versions instead. Mix in the three different gameplay modes for The House Of The Dead 2: Remake that will let us play normally, just the boss fights, or do a bit of training, and we have a well-rounded title to expect. Have a look and see just how this one is shaping up and if you will be tossing even more money at this IP now. So many quarters were used back in the day and there is no easy way to bring all of those back from the dead here…
The House Of The Dead 2: Remake — Announcement
The House Of The Dead 2: Remake is a remake of the second entry in the well-known and popular rail-shooter series. Take on the lone role of a secret agent as James or Gary, or team up in co-op mode to neutralize the dangerous undead monsters standing in your way.
In February 2000, a small city was suddenly overrun by hostile creatures. Two AMS agents, James Taylor and Gary Stewart, were sent to investigate. Upon arrival, they noticed that the situation resembled the Curien Mansion incident from 1998. Determined to uncover the source of the infestation, they began shooting their way through hordes of creatures.
