A new title, Cronos: The New Dawn, is revealed with Cronos: The New Dawn looking to take us all on a wild time travel ride
There just seems to be no slowing down for Bloober Team out there, as they just came off the launch of the Silent Hill 2 Remake and here we go with their next title Cronos: The New Dawn. A wholly new IP for the developer and with some fun little twists to the normal genre the game is going to fit into. Even if Cronos: The New Dawn does look like it is using the previous Silent Hill as some fun inspiration as well as some Dead Space. That is what I am seeing, but we can have a look at just what the game should hold and stand out when it launches on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2025. Quite an impressive turnaround for all of this too…
Now that we have a feeling for what Cronos: The New Dawn will feel like, we have a full cinematic video to take in to get more of a feeling with a bit of the gameplay at the end. All to build into a time travel story that will have us playing as an agent sent out to extract people who did not survive an apocalypse in 1980 but somehow became scattered through time. All while navigating a wasteland that came about from all of this called the Change. A land that is filled with all of the horrors of the apocalypse as well as some of the twisted beings that also came as part of it. All while Cronos: The New Dawn looks and feels like something we have played before while standing out as its own IP from the studio. You are going to have to have a look at all of this and then get ready to wait until we see how all of their lessons learned will give us all something truly new to experience.
