A new mode for Dead Rising is on the way with a look at more of the gameplay and skins here for the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster
With only a short bit of time before the digital version of Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is out there on September 19th, it is time to dive into a bit more of the gameplay we are getting. Some of it is the classic we have seen before, but in the new Director’s Report from Capcom that we have, we get to see a new mode just for this version of the game. Along with that, a whole slew of new costumes that Frank will get to put on in the game to make Dead Rising even more absurd but fun nonetheless. Even if some of them feel like they should change the gameplay of things, but I digress. Let us see what else is coming in the game when it launches on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC very, very soon.
We are not going to go over all of the various costumes we see we are getting here in the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, but we are going to look at the bigger focus. The new Infinity Mode that the team is putting into the game is out there. A new mode that will remove the time mechanic from the game, somewhat, and focus more on how long we can survive in the game. More or less, the clock is counting up instead of down. Along with that shift, Frank will be losing health as this version of Dead Rising plays out and we will need to kill as many of the undead or scrounge food to keep Frank going for as long as possible. This feels like it is something that could be easily “gamed” from the looks of it, but it is something new to offer up fans of the IP. Even if it would be interesting to see if the core story can be played in the mode or if it will be just another thing to do after you beat the core story again.

Are you excited for all of these new costumes to come to Dead Rising here or will you still stick to the basic clothes Frank wears? Will this new mode be an option for the main story of the game or just an add-on to keep us playing the game even longer than the core time it should take? Why will they always give us costumes that would keep us safe in the zombie apocalypse but still treat it all as if we are still not wearing any protection? Sprint on down to the comment section and give us those thoughts and discussion. When there is more to share out there for the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, we will give it all to you here.
