Another crossover for Dead By Daylight is here with Tomb Raider getting the Dead By Daylight treatment
The universe of Dead By Daylight just seems to keep getting bigger and bigger out there. First, we had Behaviour dropping in more players to matches with the 2v8 mode, and then we just had the latest announcement with Frank Stone. Now, we have another survivor coming to Dead By Daylight and one who is known for their survival. All with a new crossover with Tomb Raider. As of right now, Lara Croft is on the game on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. Along with a few other fun things that only Lara is able to bring to the table too. At least for this update.
In this crossover, Lara will have here dual pistols and a bow to help out with the nightmares in Dead By Daylight. Along with three new perks of Finesse, Hardened, and Specialist. All to further highlight her skills from her franchise as well as make her and others of the ultimate survivors in The Fog out there. Although, that does make it sound more like Lara would be on the offense more than the defense in Dead By Daylight, but I am guessing that will only come up in a few instances to escape or craft other traps to slow down some of the Killers out there. We can now have two of them hunting us in the matches as of now, so that will be a massive thing we will need to worry about.
Dead By Daylight — Tomb Raider
Adventure into the unknown. Lara Croft has entered The Fog.
Dead By Daylight: Tomb Raider. Available Now.
Prepare to venture into the unknown as the Tomb Raider herself, Lara Croft, takes on The Entity’s Realm. Courageous, resourceful, and no stranger to the supernatural, few characters enter Dead By Daylight with the Tomb Raider’s iconic status or survival pedigree.
While she may find herself without her trademark pistols or bow, Dead By Daylight’s gameplay boils Lara down to her essence, creating abilities around the intangibles that define her. Lara introduces 3 new Perks, Finesse, Hardened, and Specialist to Dead By Daylight, each of which underscores her skills as an athlete (new animation!), adventurer, and archeologist respectively.
Players can welcome Lara Croft to their roster of Survivors with the Dead By Daylight: Tomb Raider Chapter, available now.
Was Lara Croft another of the characters you ever pictured showing up to survive in Dead By Daylight or will they make it work no matter what? How do you think the guns and ranged weapons will function out there and will they do more than slow the Killers down? What other iconic character would you want to see show up in this universe or should they focus more on the horror icons again? Cartwheel on down to the comment section to discuss all of that and everything else that we have to share for the game. I know there is still a lot more to come for Dead By Daylight, so be sure to keep on checking in on the site for all of that. You will not be let down by any of that.
