A new faction is coming to Blood Bowl 3 with the undead also carting along some cross-play for Blood Bowl fans
The next faction is hitting the pitch for Blood Bowl 3 with the reveal of the Necromantic Horror team. A team that I am sure that is a bit on the self-explanatory side of things, but we have a good update from Cyanide on it. On June 11th, Blood Bowl 3 will be flooded with ghouls, zombies, and all kinds of ghosts to give all of the nightmares a run for their money in the game. Along with all of that, though, there are some other fun updates coming to the game when this new faction drops on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Let us take a dive into all that is about to pop off with this game.
As you will see in the following teaser for this new faction in Blood Bowl 3, the team will be comprised of Wraiths, Ghouls, Zombies, Werewolves, and Flesh Golems. All taking on the roles of the team as they sound, even if Werewolf feels a little off for the necromantic team out there. Along with the team, though, it looks like we are finally getting cross-play added in for the game on the same day. Then we will finally be able to play with all of our friends no matter what platform they have Blood Bowl 3 on. Well, unless you have the game on the Switch as that is going to be one of the platforms that will not be getting that update. A little weird, sure, but not overly surprising when all is said and done out there.
Blood Bowl 3 — Necromantic Horror
Cyanide and NACON took the opportunity during the Warhammer Skulls online showcase to unveil some new information on the upcoming season of Blood Bowl 3, with a brand-new trailer. Set to be released on 11 June, this will highlight two new features keenly anticipated by the player community: the iconic Necromantic Horror faction and cross-play. Blood Bowl 3 is available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
Introducing the Necromantic Horror faction
The Necromantic Horror faction comprises a wide variety of monsters and undead creatures straight from your worst nightmares: wraiths, ghouls, zombies, werewolves, and even flesh golems… a highly varied patchwork of specialist players, who complement each other to a tee. This faction makes for a mobile and tough team, which can also call on peerless regeneration and resurrection skills!
A major new feature: cross-play
Eagerly anticipated by the community, cross-play has now arrived. This feature enables players to face rivals using any device, and take part in cross-platform competitions.
An exclusive dice set and promotions on all platforms
During the Warhammer Skulls event, fans of the game can get their hands on a free special dice set.
Have you been counting down the days until we saw this faction in Blood Bowl 3 again and are you confused why it took so long? Will the Switch get the cross-play function at some point or will we have to wait until the next version of the IP to hear about that? Why are werewolves usually tagged into the necromancer teams when they are their own thing? Tackle all of those thoughts down in the comment section and let us know what you are thinking when it comes to all of this. If we have more to share for Blood Bowl 3, we will toss it up on the site for you to see. Please keep on coming back to see and hear about all of that as it flows on out there.
