Well, more along the lines of Puppet House will freak out everyone but that demographic will find the game the most terrifying of all. Let us have a look at what other nightmares this title could be bringing us when it does finally launch out there in the wild.
The story of Puppet House will have us stepping into an abandoned ventriloquist’s house to learn about the secrets and other terrifying things that could have gone on in here. People are missing from the town and that needs to stop. Somehow, the house and all of the puppets left behind are linked to it all. Here is a bit of a tease to see if you will be giving this title a little look when it does finally launch out there.

When looking at Puppet House, I do get a little concerned that the developers are leaning into the puppets being the scariest part more than anything for this one. Before you go off with “Well, that’s the point,” there needs to be some other tension in the game for those who do not find the little things all that frightening. I know some out there who will never even look at this title due to their phobias, but for me, this would be a fun walk from puzzle to puzzle. If all I am getting is dark, poorly lit rooms, with the occasional jumpscare, Puppet House will become rather rote. I am not saying to not lean into the gimmick, but make sure there is more going on for those who want a good horror experience but do not find puppets to be all that terrifying.
Where do you stand on Puppet House after all of this or were you too scared to even watch the teaser for the game? Will it be more than just the puppets and a few jumpscares or will some of us find the horror lacking in the mix? What do you suspect will be behind the animation of the puppets out there and will it be something other than normal demonic possession? Wander on down to the comment section to share those thoughts and then discuss it all. We will have what we can for Puppet House as it flows out there. Please keep on checking back in for all of those updates and many more as we are able to supply them.
