The actors are on display for Alone In The Dark as we get to see just how these performances will feel in Alone In The Dark
The launch of Alone In The Dark is quickly coming with only a few more days until March 20th is here and the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC letting us access to this universe one more time. A lot of time and effort has gone into it from Pieces Interactive and it shows. There is also a lot more going into from our protagonist’s actors, which is what we get to see here for Alone In The Dark… again. Yes, we have one more big showing of how David Harbour and Jody Comer are coming to life and bringing not only their voice acting to life in the game, but part of their facial and emotional acting at that.
While we have seen a lot of this for Alone In The Dark up to now, this new video pulls the characters into the void of darkness and leaves only their performances on display for us. For the most part. There are a few other things to see, but this is all about how the teams and the actors are going to be bringing so much life into these characters to add to the level of realism we have been looking for in the game. Even if that might be the only part of Alone In The Dark that feels close to the real world that we will have in the game. It is all about a supernatural horror ordeal and nothing to the level of any sane person experiencing out here.
Alone In The Dark — The Dark Road To Derceto
Alone In The Dark is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on March 20th.
Derceto is inevitable for those who dig up the past.
Embark on a harrowing journey through Alone In The Dark, where Jodie Comer and David Harbour’s haunting performances infuse the upcoming horror game with gripping emotion.
Experience this new nightmare from either Emily Hartwood’s or Edward Carnby’s perspective, played by Jodie Comer (Killing Eve, Free Guy) and David Harbour (Stranger Things, Hellboy) respectively.
All of this just gets me excited to finally play the full version of Alone In The Dark. The demo was solid but only a short walk about a creepy few rooms. The full title will offer a whole lot of different things out there and the performances are going to truly shine out there, for sure. Even if it feels like they put more time into capturing David Harbour’s likeness better than they did for Jody Comer’s. I am not sure the reason for that, but it is how it looks to me. I am sure that will help with her performance to come through a bit better but it is just odd that we can look at one character and know exactly who they are and then look at the other and not fully know without some research.
How are you feeling about the performances we have coming in Alone In The Dark? Do you think the choices were to make the actors shine through better or was there a different reason for some of the looks that the artists went with? Will this lead the game to hitting us all a bit more emotionally or will it just be a way to better sell the star power of it all? Head down to the comment section to discuss all of this and share more of your thoughts. We will have what we can for Alone In The Dark on the site going forward, still, so please keep on checking back in for all of those updates and the many others we have in the pipelines for you.
