A new teaser for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is here to show us more of what might come in the next part of the Final Fantasy VII Remake
The days until we all get to see what Final Fantasy VII Rebirth has to offer us all on the PS5 are dwindling down. Soon February 29th will be here and we will get to see if Square Enix is going to be hitting out of the park again with the remake and the massive next chapter to it all. Even if there is still one more part to it all yet to come, I have a feeling it is going to give many fans what they want. Even if the latest trailer for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth does make it feel like the story might be deviating in one more massive way than we have seen before now. A way that might completely change one of the most heartbreaking scenes in gaming history if this is anything to go on.
The latest trailer for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth leans into Sephiroth a bit more and does show how Zach might be building up more in the story than in the original version of it all. There is nothing massive to take away, outside of it looks like there is the possibility that Tifa might be the one killed in this part of the story and not Aerith. There is a scene here that is framed much like we saw in the original Final Fantasy VII but with Tifa in place instead. An interesting choice if it is what will happen in the story here and one that will massively divide the fan base if it is not managed well. Nostalgia is a hard thing to fight but I am excited to see how it all goes down still.

The highly anticipated new standalone story in the critically acclaimed Final Fantasy VII Remake project, winner of Most Anticipated Game at The Game Awards, will be released on February 29th, 2024 for the PlayStation 5.
Of course, this is all speculation from a few seconds of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth footage but given how the team has shaken things up already and the slightly different story they are telling, it could be a great way to break more hearts out there. Given that Aerith’s resurrection was one of the biggest hoaxes that happened when she originally died, there is a lot riding on the team living up to that hype. As I see it, they might be able to kill off Tifa in the story but with the rumors of this being a weird time-travel or alternate dimension from the original Final Fantasy VII maybe that will be a short-lived death and then we might actually get to see the original Aerith brought back as many have tried to do over the decades.
How would you feel if they killed off Tifa in the story here or are you one of the Final Fantasy VII purists who need the story to be the exact same no matter what? Could they use a character’s death to give the internet what they have been looking for over all this time or will things get fixed in the long run? How much of Zach will we actually get to experience in this story or will that just be a push for more to pick up Crisis Core? Head to the comments to discuss all of this and everything else out there. There is more to come for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, so please keep on checking back for all of those updates and many, many more.
