New content for The Outlast Trials is on the way with a new courthouse setting for us to survive in The Outlast Trials
Just in time for Halloween to hit us all rather hard here, The Outlast Trials is back to give us something new to go through in the mix. The game is still in its Early Access form of things, but that does not mean that Red Barrels is not giving us more to experience on the PC. In fact, on October 26th, we are going to get a whole new trial to go through in The Outlast Trials. The pun totally intended since this one brings us a new courthouse map where we will need to go off against a judge and some other prisoners to be let free of things. Everything seems to be coming full circle on most of the game as of now. I can totally dig all of this.
The basic for what is going on in this new trial for The Outlast Trials is more or less laid out there above for you. Although, this one looks like we will have a new tool of sorts that can kill, attack, and enrage some of the others in the courthouse with us. Why they are doing some prisoner things in the courthouse is a little odd, but then again, so is the whole of the Outlast universe out there. It is curious to see that we are going to be the one to overthrow what is going on in this location, but this could also be part of the trial we are going through and none of it will matter. For now, have a look at what is on the way in this new update and see just how dark things could get if we do not handle it all in the best of ways out there.
The Outlast Trials — Courthouse Reveal
A new Trial Program will be available in The Outlast Trials on October 26th along with new Weekly Programs, additional MK-Challenges, and Program Geister; our limited-time Halloween event complete with special rewards and much more!
The Outlast Trials, is a brand new take on the acclaimed Outlast survival horror series, set in the same terrifying universe as the previous titles, only this time you can choose to play on your own or with friends in a team of up to four people.
Set in the height of the Cold War era, players take on the role of test subjects abducted by the shadowy Murkoff Corporation. Imprisoned in a secret Murkoff facility, players will be thrust into a series of physical and mental ordeals, tormented by iconic characters, and challenged alone or in teams to survive with their sanity intact.
I do kind of wish I would have been in on The Outlast Trials from the start or that I enjoy digging into Early Access titles in general. I just do not have the time or effort to put into unfinished titles out there and need to only play the final versions. That said, this new update has me leaning in on giving this a go before The Outlast Trials is finalized out there. I am digging into the look and feel of this new location and just what we have to do in the mix of it all. This could all change once we start to see footage of it all flow out there, but for now, I am very interested in seeing how it all goes. Maybe this is the true trial I have to go through until this one is ready for all of us to dive into without needing to play with an unfinished project at this point.
Have you been enjoying the Early Access up to now and does it expand out the Outlast universe perfectly for you? Do you think we will only get to shock some heads in this little part of the game or will that be a tool we get to use in various other parts out there? Do you think we will see another big update like this sooner than later or will it only be sparse we get this kind of content update in general? Take to the comments to discuss all of this and everything else we have to share with the world out there. We are going to have a lot more to share for The Outlast Trials, I am sure, so please keep on checking back for those updates and many others as we head forward with it all.
