The release date for The 7th Guest VR is now set with The 7th Guest VR coming to more platforms just before this Halloween
If I remember calling it, it looks like we were right in saying that The 7th Guest VR would be out to us all before Halloween this year. It looks like Vertigo Games has gone on out to Gamescom this year to let us all know that we will be able to hop into this horror world on the PC and PS5 via VR and PSVR2 respectively. All of which on October 19th, so we can be sure to have The 7th Guest VR under our belts for ourselves and then put the rest of our friends through the paces on the big night of it all. I know that will be the way I will be going about it all when the time comes this year.
To go along with this big announcement for The 7th Guest VR, we have a new bit of gameplay to look at that also gives us all a taste of the story once more. This is a title that worked around the 90s PC classic from before, but it has been a long time since we had The 7th Guest out there, so there is a need to get that update. Seeing as we are going to figure out the riddles and puzzles of the Stauf Mansion, it is good to have the reminder here. Not to mention a fun look at the ghosts and other 3D things we will get to experience in the game now that it is going to VR. Even if it is a little hard to hear the new volumetric audio that is going on here. Have a look and see how it feels for you just before Halloween.

Prepare your visit to this haunting world as The 7th Guest VR is set to release on October 19th, just in time for the Halloween season.
I never had a chance to experience The 7th Guest when it first came out to us all, so it is going to be an experience to see how the events will play out and in a VR setting. Especially to see how the live actors will be translated over to this version of it all and how the scenes could feel different based on our positioning. Not to mention to have a solid little scare in The 7th Guest VR with the other spirits that look like will be in the mix and keeping us all locked in the mansion. Now, if only we had word on if the PSVR2 version will have some other fun features using the hardware that would make this all one step further into the terror that we might be looking for out there.
Did you have a chance to experience The 7th Guest the first time around or will the VR version be your first chance with it all? How do you think things will shift with the new audio options in the mix or will it only just add to the ambiance more than anything? What will be different between the PC and PSVR2 versions of the game or will it just be the same all around? Take a trip down to the comment section to let the world know what you are thinking about all of this and more. We should have more for The 7th Guest VR in the coming weeks, so please keep on coming back to see and hear all of that as we get it all on the site for you.
