A new look at Atlas Fallen is out there to give us a deeper look into how Atlas Fallen has been made

Hold onto your butts, we have a lot more to take in for Atlas Fallen out of a new behind-the-scenes video that Deck13 Interactive has graced the world with. Well, more of a behind-the-sand with how much they feature it in the video. It is going to be a massive element in the game, so it does make sense. If it does not make sense to you yet, I will refer you back to the opening of this as we get to dive further into all of the mechanics of Atlas Fallen that were glossed over before. Not to mention how the team is taking elements from their past titles that worked amazing and bringing them into a new fantasy world from the Sci-Fi one we had before. Just as a good developer should be doing out there.

The mention of sand in Atlas Fallen is not much of a joke here. Even if we made it seem that way before. It is a driving factor in the world, as we will be gliding through it with our characters. That and the world has been shaped by it and is a lot like the one we see in things like DUNE. That series is one of the inspirations for Atlas Fallen here. More so when we see the team took the time to make the world feel as real as possible based on how things would go on a planet like this. If we base it all around how it all works on Earth, that is. There are quarries, canyons, and all manner of other things that would be shaped by just wind, heat, and the blowing sand out there. Even if it does feel like it is a little light on the glass stuff out there.

Focus Entertainment and its studio Deck13 shared a behind-the-scenes video for their upcoming game Atlas Fallen, the epic fantasy action RPG where you battle legendary creatures in superpowered combat. Prepare to glide torrid sands this summer, with the game getting released on August 10 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. An epic adventure is born

With Atlas Fallen, Deck13 takes its passion for thrilling action-RPG experiences to a new territory. Following their sci-fi series, The Surge, the team embraces a fresh vision for a unique medieval fantasy world and faster-paced-oriented combat. The behind-the-scenes video gathers the words of several developers and creatives, as well as gorgeous concept art and footage of the game, telling the fun, exciting, and inspiring adventure that led to Atlas Fallen. Over the years, the innovative people at Deck13, a small but talented dev team based in Frankfurt, Germany, have consistently sought to enhance the RPG experiences they offer, exploring new ideas, all within their in-house engine, Fledge.

Players will be able to explore the fascinating world of Atlas and battle its extraordinary beasts soon, as the game will be released in August, extending or accompanying the joy of summer days and vacations. Meanwhile, the behind-the-scenes video allows you to take a look at the upcoming thrill that combines exploration and combat, with insight from the dedicated people who envisioned it. It is good to know that Atlas Fallen will have the limb-striking mechanic that The Surge had while also speeding up the combat a bit more. It also looks as if they removed some of the slow and wind-up stuff to lean into a faster-paced title too. That has me even more excited to see what is going to be out there in Atlas Fallen, with the combat from the other being one of the bigger reasons I stopped playing The Surge. Now we just need to wait until August 10th to see if all of the good made it over with all of the bad getting buried in the sand out there. See how I was able to bring it all back to sand again. I will see myself out for that one.
