An extended look at Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is here to show us a new area to explore in Cyberpunk 2077
It looks as if there was more for the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty than we knew out of the Xbox Games Showcase that went down a little bit ago. A little more news, a little more gameplay, and an interview from CD Projekt RED and Keanu Reeves in the mix of it all. A weird thing to not have highlighted in the main list of it all, but it is what it is. We have it now and well before the launch of this DLC on September 26th for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. So, let us all buckle in and see just what is coming to further expand out the world of Cyberpunk 2077 in the coming months.
First we will kick off a look at the new Black Market coming into Dogtown in Cyberpunk 2077. Just as it all sounds, this new area will be a seedy underbelly of an underbelly in the game’s world and will be run by someone just as terrible. It will also be the place where V gets all of the upgrades and new cyberware to further the goals out there. Not to mention dig deeper into the spy-thriller aspect of this part of Cyberpunk 2077 with the usual “friends in low places” trope that goes with it all. At least we might be able to get flamethrower elbows in the game. Yes, you read that. Flamethrower elbows…

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty arrives on September 26th on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
Phantom Liberty is an upcoming spy-thriller expansion for Cyberpunk 2077. Return as cyber-enhanced mercenary V and embark on a high-stakes mission of espionage and intrigue to save the NUSA President. In the dangerous district of Dogtown, you must forge alliances within a web of shattered loyalties and sinister political machinations. Do you have what it takes to survive?
To go along with all of that for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, the man, the myth, the legend, Keanu Reeves also sat down to talk about the game a bit more and the aspects the DLC will bring in. Although, it is more or less him being a genuine person and just lending his talents to the game with things being about the same. Outside of him linking how Idris Elba’s character will link into Silverhand a bit. Not a huge spoiler, but they both have that military background. Something we could have assumed from watching any of the other videos about the character for Cyberpunk 2077. Not a huge gripe, but just more of the team using the star power to push the game back into the light.

How do you feel about all of this coming into Cyberpunk 2077 with the new DLC or is this something we should have looked for from the start? Will the link between the two stars be greater than we are led to believe or will this be about it and just two conflicting ideas on the same outcome? Take all of those thoughts and comments into the section below and feel free to discuss it all. We are going to have more for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, certainly, so please keep a close eye on the site for all of those updates and more.
