More found footage for Paranormal Tales is here to show off some of the ways Paranormal Tales will be scaring us along the way

There was a great showing for Paranormal Tales last week as we had so many aspects of the “found footage” and body cam games pop up during the week. It does not seem as if that is going to slow down this week, with Digital Cybercherries giving us all a little more to take in for Paranormal Tales in both the atmosphere and scares we might be getting to experience in the game. Scares that, in this instance, will be of the jumping kind. Even if it does feel like the team is trying something new to shake up the formula many tire of when it comes to their horror games. Let us all have a look.

In the footage below, we see more of our protagonist and POV character moving about the house as we have seen in the other videos for Paranormal Tales. This time, though, we get to hear and see how some of the tension builds in tone and setting while waiting for the inevitable jump. Sometimes it comes and sometimes it does not come. All of this leaves us to build more of our own fears into Paranormal Tales than just being handed what we need to be afraid of. It is hard to tell if this is going to translate well to live gameplay, but it feels like the correct direction to go so far as to keep things feeling fresh. Have a look and see if you agree with it all.

Digital Cybercherries released another trailer for its viral bodycam horror game Paranormal Tales. Built in Unreal Engine 5, Paranormal Tales creates a horrifying and immersive experience by creating bodycam/found footage for players to watch with bated breath. The newest trailer gives another glimpse at the jump-scare-inducing gameplay they can expect.

Paranormal Tales is a next-gen horror game based on found footage built in Unreal Engine 5. Players will experience and play through each tragic tale of those who went missing from the viewpoint of found footage from bodycams, phones, and VHS cameras.

Players can expect to experience gameplay mechanics such as facial recognition, dynamic breathing, interaction with household objects, stumbling when sprinting, and of course jump scares. Paranormal Tales will take players through multiple locations and tales where nothing is safe. What may seem to be an ordinary lived-in house can suddenly turn into something more sinister for players that are brave enough to explore further.

Do you think the jump scares in Paranormal Tales will be of the top level or will it still devolve into what we are always able to predict? Does the tension feel like it is a better way to get to this end goal or will that get tiring too if not handled well? When do you think we will see some other form of found footage to comb through or will it stick to the body cam stuff until launch? Take those thoughts and comments into the section we have provided below. We have our eyes fixed on Paranormal Tales, so do know we will keep sharing all that we can for the game. It looks like it will be an amazing ride when all is said and done.
