The Suicide Squad is going to take a little longer to gear up for the Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League
The delays keep on coming here for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League with the next one coming to us for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. We all knew it was not going to be making the original June date given the reception that Rocksteady received from the latest major gameplay showing. Not backlash just from the hardcore fans that can never be pleased, but backlash from even the general audiences out there. That is why they have had to go back to the drawing board and put the extra work in for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. Now we are going to have to wait until February 2nd or 2024 to see how this monumental task is going to get pulled off. With the extra year, we can only hope that they are able to get the game to a state where we all will be happy and begging for more just as we have for the Arkham games before. Time will only tell.
If you missed out on the gameplay for Suicide Squad, we have a bit of that just below for you to see here too. You can see how things look cool, but seem a bit off for the various characters we have grown to enjoy over the years. It also does not feel like it hits the right tones and feels of the universe it is set in and is more like a shooter than anything. At least, that is the way it feels to me. Less of a Suicide Squad game in the Arkham universe, but more of the Gotham City Imposters kind of feel. Not the best look for a game that is coming from such an amazing developer. It definitely feels like there was some kind of publisher push for things and it did not go as they expected. Here is hoping that Rocksteady gets to just do what they know is best and can recover from the delay without any issues. For now, we will only have to wait and see.
