A release date for Immortals Of Aveum is now set for this July so we will soon be able to take up the ranks of the various Immortals out there
The reveal for Immortals Of Aveum was not too long ago and it rather felt like it could be a title we were going to be waiting a longer time for. It was slated as a 2023 release from Ascendant Studios when it was first revealed, so it felt like it could be a title that we could see at the end of the year or getting pushed out to 2024. More so since we have not had much for Immortals Of Aveum since that reveal. Here we are, now, to let you all know we will get to see the game hit the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on July 20th of this year. That 2023 timeline is not going to be missed at all now. Amazing news, indeed.
In addition to getting the release date for Immortals Of Aveum, we have a new trailer to look at to tell us some of the story and a little bit of the gameplay too. Most of which makes it all feel like a Sci-Fi version of LotR to me. All of the massive battle scenes, the main villain having a massive helmet, and everyone trying to fight for one massive MacGuffin out there. Only here we are called Immortals and trying to keep all of the magic flowing out there more than anything. On top of many other things mixed in there too, but that feels like the state of all of the industries out there with very few original aspects out there now.
Immortals Of Aveum — Release Date
EA and Ascendant Studios announced that Immortals Of Aveum, a groundbreaking single-player, first-person magic shooter, will be released on July 20, 2023, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via EA App, Steam, and Epic Games Store.
Immortals Of Aveum is set in an original fantasy universe engulfed in magic, rife with conflict, and on the edge of the abyss. Players experience this visceral and cinematic, story-driven game through the eyes of Jak, as he joins an elite order of battlemages, masters all three colors of magic – blue, green, and red – and decimates legions of enemies with clever chained attacks and well-timed counters. Combining a modern story within a fantasy setting, the world of Aveum is filled with unforgettable characters, fast-paced action, and spell-based combat that defies FPS conventions.
Having grown up powerless and destitute, Jak is what’s known as an Unforeseen – someone who unexpectedly manifests magical abilities later in life. With his newfound potential, Jak is recruited by General Kirkan to join the Order of the Immortals and is reluctantly thrust into mankind’s endless war for the control of magic. With powerful magic-wielders and legions of soldiers on both sides of the Everwar, Jak and his elite order of Immortals must uncover the mysteries of Aveum’s troubled past, if there’s any hope for saving its future. Immortals Of Aveum’s cinematic campaign is brought to life by an incredibly talented cast of AAA celebrities like Darren Barnet (“Never Have I Ever,” “Road House,” “Gran Turismo”) as Jak, and Gina Torres (“Suits,” “Pearson,” “Firefly”) as General Kirkan.
Did you think that Immortals Of Aveum could have been delayed instead or did you always expect to see it here this year? Are you getting the same LotR vibe as I am or does it feel like it is something that will be standing on its own? Could this be more than a magic version of a Battlefield game out there? Take all of those thoughts down to the comment section and then feel free to discuss it all as you so wish to do. There is going to be a lot more for Immortals Of Aveum now, so please keep checking in here for all of those updates and everything else that is on the way to us.
