We Are Going To Have To Set Out To Fix What We Broke In Judas

Judas — Reveal

A new title, Judas, has been revealed and Judas is the long-awaited game from the team that brought us BioShock

It feels like we have been waiting for a long time for this, but here we are with the official reveal for Judas. This is the upcoming game from Ghost Story Games, the studio that is being helmed by the people that brought us all BioShock and BioShock Infinite. A studio that has had a whole lot of buzz around it for a while now but with little to share with us all. That is until Judas was revealed during The Game Awards and is set to hit all of our PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC systems sometime in the future. Now we just get to hope that it is in the near future and not years down the line. Although, this new trailer we have does make it feel like it could be just around the corner.

You can, of course, see this new trailer for Judas just a bit lower but there is a little to dig into before all of that. Like the fact that it does look and feel like many of the titles from the past that team members have worked on, specifically BioShock. The difference is that Judas is in a Sci-Fi setting and uses characters that do not look to be linked at all to the other IP. All of this is a good thing as it is enough of the familiar to keep us invested but also doing what the team is good at. That would be innovating the narrative and single-player games out there. That is what Judas looks like it will be doing so well while giving us a whole host of new characters to experience and see if we can ever truly trust. Even if my gamer-sense is tingling that this could just be another in the branching multiverse of stories that were set up in the more recent game that many of the team has worked on.
