The story of God Of War: Ragnarök has taken a bit of shaping since the previous God Of War title we have had
It is time, once more, to go behind the scenes and see how some of our games are made and shaped out there, with God Of War: Ragnarök being the next on the list. There have been a few bits like this out there from Santa Monica Studio already, but this is a deeper dive into the story with various other aspects yet to come. All so we can have a better appreciation for God Of War and then see the hardships that they had to go through to get this latest one ready for the November 9th launch on the PS4 and PS5. A journey that all started out with some true hardships as far back as 2020, if we all want to try to remember those times…
As it has been alluded to thus far for God Of War: Ragnarök, this first part in the ongoing series does focus on the story and how it has been evolving out there. Take that as a bit of a spoiler alert here if you are trying to not find out anything for the game beforehand. It does a good dive into some of the struggles that the team did have to go through while capturing the performances due to the pandemic and how Atreus’ voice actor was aging during it all too. All while quickly wrapping the story of God Of War in a quick bit so you are ready to see how this next massive chapter in the saga is going to end. This will be the final game in the Norse setting as they have all said, but thankfully not in the full line of titles out there.
God Of War: Ragnarök — Shaping The Story
Join us on our journey behind the scenes of God Of War: Ragnarök. Throughout this series, we’ll take you across the Nine Realms as we look behind the curtain at the development process across the many disciplines that bring God Of War to life.
Episode 1 begins in Midgard, where we’ll cover the important story information from God Of War (2018) and set the stage for God Of War: Ragnarök before it launches on November 9th, 2022.
Are you fully ready to see how this part of the tale is going to end or will this also just be a new beginning for the next God Of War title we might get? Is it a little surprising that they went with the same voice actor knowing that things were going to change during the time or was it the pandemic that made that the biggest issue? How many more characters do you suspect we will see join this little found family we have growing here and will they all make it out of the game alive? Tell us all of your thoughts on this down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all as you so wish. When we have more to share for God Of War: Ragnarök, you best bet we will have it all here to share. Please keep checking back in for all of that and much more along the way to the launch.
