The story for The Callisto Protocol expands a bit more with a new story trailer that we have for The Callisto Protocol
I never thought I would have to say it, but it looks like the story for The Callisto Protocol is going to be going a bit darker than we thought before. How dark is still to be determined, but with the latest showing from Striking Distance Studios and Krafton for the game, it is going to be not for the faint of heart. Especially when we see what is going on in the Black Iron Prison within The Callisto Protocol and how some of the monstrosities came to be. We will certainly know more on December 2nd when the game lands, but this new trailer gives us all some solid hints so we can be ready to see if we will be able to make it through.
What we are able to glean in the following for The Callisto Protocol, looks to be something along the lines of using the prisoners as test subjects. Test subjects that look like they are the ones that have become the new monsters after being flayed open and poked around in. Given the level that all of the lies and truth is being pushed here, my guess is that it was a lab where they just tested on all of them. Tested until things went truly wrong and something broke free and sprouted tentacles. That does seem to be the other big aspect to take away here for The Callisto Protocol. Much like the game that the team comes from, we are going to have to take them all out in a specific way when not around massive industrial machines. Unless we are always around industrial machines…

Is this about where you were expecting the story of The Callisto Protocol to go here or did you think it was going to be something else from the start? Will this be the place that the “outbreak” started from or will it be just another stop in a long line of messed-up stories in this game? How often will we get to use these big machines to quickly take out the creatures in this game or will they mostly be scripted? Give us all of that feedback down in the comments and then feel free to discuss as you so want. We are ready for more of The Callisto Protocol all the time and will share it all as we get it. Please keep a sharp eye on the site for all of those updates and everything else that we will have to offer up along the way.
