A new bit of gameplay for Tchia is here to give us a bit of the ocean exploration fun we will have in Tchia
Get ready to set sail a bit with Tchia, as we have more to look at for the game and the oceans we will be exploring in the mix of it all. We still have to wait until early 2023 to get this title on the PS4, PS5, and PC but that does not mean that Awaceb does not have something extra to show us all. They have a glorious archipelago built for Tchia and it would be a waste to keep it all hidden from us until then. Not to mention that it would be a rough call to not try to remind us that the game is coming since it is not one of the bigger names out there driving it all forward. That is why we have to keep sharing what we can for the game.
There is not much to talk about in terms of how it will all function in Tchia, but it does have an amazing look to the world we will dive into. Pun only slightly intended. It does look like we will be going underwater and sailing about the world throughout the various times of the day in the game. It is interesting to see that our character will be able to hold their breath for quite some time in Tchia too, but this could just be for the video here. There has to be some kind of mechanic to dictate that a bit more, but we will have to wait to see how that will play out. As long as we keep a closer eye on the game as it is developed over time.
Tchia — Ocean Exploration Mini-Feature
Check out a brand-new glimpse of Tchia, a tropical open-world adventure, setting sail on PS5 and PC in early 2023. From cruising the waves to diving into the colorful ocean depths, racing and navigating the waterways of a beautiful archipelago, the world is your oyster!
Tchia is an open-world sandbox, inspired by New Caledonia. When you’re not exploring the ocean, take control of almost any animal or object you can find, or jam on your fully playable Ukulele!
Did you forget that Tchia was going to be on the way or have you been all-in since it was first announced out there? Do you think there will be some kind of mechanic in place to keep us from staying underwater all the time or will it be as free as possible? How far do you think we will get to sail out from the land and will we have a good reason we will be turned back? Tell us all down in the comments what you are thinking and then feel free to discuss it all if you so wish. More for Tchia should be on the way to us all, so be sure to keep checking back in for all of that and much, much more.
