God Of War will now be making its way to the PC to give more gamers a chance to experience the glory of God Of War
Just when you thought you would never see it, God Of War from 2018 is on its way over to the PC after a great run on the PS4 and PS5 out there. If you have missed out on the title due to the limits of it being on the consoles, Santa Monica Studio is making sure you now have a chance after almost four years. All with just a little more to wait with God Of War hitting on January 14th of 2022. Well in advance before the next one drops out there to try to bring more into the fun. Now it begs the question if we will see the coming sequel hit the PC too now…
It looks like this version of God Of War will offer us all of the upgrades that we saw with the most recent update for the PS5 version of it all. All with the 4K and 60fps that everyone out there clamors for out there. Obviously, all of the console-specific aspects of God Of War will not be there but it does give a whole new fanbase the option to experience this amazing IP first-hand. Even if there is no easy way to experience everything before now with the plethora of titles that have come before. This could be opening the floodgates for that too, but we will have to wait and see.
God Of War — PC Announcement
God Of War, coming to PC on January 14, 2022.
Enter The Norse realm
His vengeance against the Gods of Olympus years behind him, Kratos now lives as a man in the realm of Norse Gods and monsters. It is in this harsh, unforgiving world that he must fight to survive… and teach his son to do the same.
Grasp A Second Chance
Kratos is a father again. As mentor and protector to Atreus, a son determined to earn his respect, he is forced to deal with and control the rage that has long defined him while out in a very dangerous world with his son.
Journey To A Dark, Elemental World Of Fearsome Creatures
From the marble and columns of ornate Olympus to the gritty forests, mountains, and caves of pre-Viking Norse lore, this is a distinctly new realm with its own pantheon of creatures, monsters, and gods.
Engage In Visceral, Physical Combat
With an over-the-shoulder camera that brings the player closer to the action than ever before, fights in God Of War mirror the pantheon of Norse creatures Kratos will face: grand, gritty, and grueling. A new main weapon and new abilities retain the defining spirit of the God Of War series while presenting a vision of conflict that forges new ground in the genre.
Did you ever expect to see God Of War hit the PC or was this the IP that Sony was holding close to for the longest time? Do you think this will open things up for the rest of the IP to drop out there on the PC? Could this all be due to the fact we have so much of it all coming to us on the PlayStation next year too? Tell us all that you are thinking down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all. If there is more for God Of War, you can safely bet we will cover it all here. Please just keep a close eye on the site for all of that and everything else we will have to offer up.
