Shortly after the launch of Succubus, we have news that Succubus will soon be heading to the consoles out there
Last week, PC gamers saw the release of Succubus out there with some rather decent reception out there. Even with the basic version that does not delve into the true darkness of Hell and horrors that Madmind Studio has put into the game here. Those that do not have the option to give Succubus on the PC will soon be able to join in the fun of all of it too soon. That is, there is now a PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch version of the game in the works and poised to strike in 2022. It is a little bit of a wait, but it is something that is on the way from the teams involved. Even if it looks like the full version might not be able to make it there at the end of it all.
That last part needed to be mentioned, as Succubus does have an A.O. download that the developer is offering up for those to get the uncensored version of the game if they own the base one. This would be something that I could not imagine the console gamers will have access to in any kind of easy way, but stranger things do happen. It is just one of the perks of have the PC version over the console I guess. As long as you want to dive into the true darkness of this game when not ruthlessly murdering each other on the “safe for console” versions of the murder sims allowed out there. All because Succubus mixes sex into it, it needs to be held back from the masses. Maybe this one will be the one that breaks that stigma, but I highly doubt that.
Succubus — Launch Trailer
We are pleased to announce that our latest production — Succubus, is coming to consoles. The game will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch next year.
Succubus was released on PC (Steam / GOG) on October 5, 2021. It was very warmly received by players, and has very positive reviews on the Steam platform: 86% Very Positive.
Our friends from Console Labs S.A., authors of many successful game ports, will be responsible for the console ports. Succubus is currently their largest project and we believe that the effect of our cooperation will meet the expectations of console players.
We are also currently working on supporting the PC version, both in the form of patches as well as free and paid DLCs.
Were you holding off to see if Succubus was going to hit the consoles or will you be enjoying it on the PC for now? Do you think the uncensored version will ever make it to the consoles or will it be reserved for the smaller group of gamers in the mix of it all? Are you curious as to why we can see horrible violence in other games that consoles hardly regulate but as soon as sex is brought in, it will be censored for those that should not be playing any of these games in the first place? Give us all of your thoughts on this down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all if you so wish. We will share more for Succubus as we get it, so please keep an eye out for that on the site.
