New gameplay for Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy is out there after some hands-on impressions for the upcoming Guardians title
It looks like some samples of the upcoming Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy is making its way out there into the world with a few other outlets having their chance to get handsy with the game. Not a massive surprise with us all being a month out from the launch and Eidos-Montréal wanting to make sure it will be well-received when the day does finally come. That and to build a little more hype around the game to boost sales. It also means that we can try to take a look at some of the b-roll out there for this Guardians title to see what we can for ourselves here. Unless you want to take everyone else at their word and how the game feels at this point. You can freely do that if you so wish too.
The following footage we do have here for Guardians Of The Galaxy does seem to jump around a bit, so that is your first warning. It does go into all of the various aspects of combat, dialog tree, character advancement, as well as a nice little segment of ship combat in the game. It looks like Star-Lord’s weapon will be able to also fire off random elemental-type attacks that we will need to use to traverse the levels. All while making sure that the rest of the Guardians are on their proper tasks during the fights. I know I am glad to see that Groot will be the healer type here and we will not always have to worry about a “Game Over” screen if Peter is brought down. Have a look at it all and see just what we can expect on October 26th.
Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy — Gameplay PS5
Twelve years ago, a massive Galactic War swept across the cosmos. Star-Lord, seeing an opportunity for adventure and profit in a universe that’s finally moving on, recently formed the Guardians of the Galaxy to sell their services as heroes-for-hire. But now, a grand organization known as the Universal Church of Truth promises to bring back everything that was lost in the Galactic War. Powered by their faith, they’re spreading their beliefs to more and more worlds. It’ll soon be up to the Guardians to save the galaxy. No guts, no glory.
How are you feeling about the game after seeing all of this and does it feel like the Guardians game will be what the Avengers game was aiming for? Do you think that it will get too chaotic to fully use the characters to the best ability or will it just flow naturally when we play it all from the start? Are you glad to see that we will have full ship battles in the game or would you rather stick to the melee combat with the team doing what they do? Tell us all of your thoughts on this and then add the discussion of it all. More for Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy is on the way and we will have it all here for you. Just be sure to keep checking back in for all of it and much more as we get closer to launch.
