A prequel DLC for Life Is Strange: True Colors is on the way with more of the elements Life Is Strange is known for
Life Is Strange: True Colors is still yet to come out there, September 10th is still the date, yet here we are talking about the DLC that will be hitting us all on September 30th to further expand the story. The story before this new one from Deck Nine Games at that. This is nothing new for the Life Is Strange IP, but it is a little weird to get a prequel bit for a game that comes out just a few weeks before it all. It would seem better to just release it as a tease or build up for the bigger show, but it is what it is here. I am sure that this will work out well for it all given how the fanbase usually loves the IP for. It just feels a bit off to me here and now we have more to look at and listen to for it all.
This prequel story will take us into the role of Steph for Life Is Strange: True Colors who also is an all-new radio host spinning some of the music in the area. All of which over the four seasons that we will get to see and experience. All with a bunch of new artists and another emotional story to build into the greater narrative of it all. With a name like Wavelengths, I would expect there to be something in terms of the otherworldly with audio as the Life Is Strange formula usually goes out there. That or it could just be another mellow thing to fill in some of the background and let us know why certain things happen in the main game that we might not have understood. Again, weird to have a prequel story for the core game so close to the launch.

Are you curious to see why we are getting a prequel to the main game this fast or will it make more sense when it does land? Will this one have more of the fun owners that Life Is Strange is known for or will it be story filler to explain a few other things in the bigger game? Will we have more DLC in the coming months or will they move along to another story in the grander scheme of it all? Give us all of those thoughts down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all if you so wish. We will bring you all that we can for Life Is Strange: True Colors when we have it all. Just be sure to keep an eye out for all of that and maybe more in the coming weeks.
