The next-gen upgrade for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is out to offer the Xbox Series X a new way to experience the amazing experience that Hellblade has to offer up
There was no secret that it was coming and now we have it here with Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice getting that next-gen upgrade for the Xbox Series X out there. An upgrade that other users are going to have to miss out on with how Ninja Theory has gone down with the publishers, but one that will get a load of new players into the game. That or give fans of Hellblade yet another reason to play this amazing title once more before the upcoming sequel releases on the world. There is a lot of time to wait for that one still, so we might as well fill that time with an upgraded version of the title that kicked it all off. Something that can be added into your download queue as of right now.
As with all of these upgrades, we will see Hellblade get some better visuals, a new resolution mode, Ray Tracing, and all of the other usuals that will make the game look better than it did on the last-gen systems. I hope you were not holding out to see something further than this for this upgrade, but what is coming should add to the overall experience. Even if I am curious to see if they even tried to upgrade the audio for the game too. That was another aspect of Hellblade that truly shined before and I am curious to see if time has only made it so they can shine even brighter. Thankfully, we do not have to hesitate long to see beyond the following trailer we have for this announcement too. Time to get more Senua in our lives again.

How do you think these upgrades for Hellblade will add to the experience or will they just be a reason to run through the game once more? Do you think that there is a way to upgrade the audio we had before or did they hit the peak of it all with it the first time out? Do you think that they will ever be allowed to upgrade the title on the PS5 side or will the console wars keep some of us locked out? Let us know all of those thoughts down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all if you so wish. We will keep all of the news and updates for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, and the IP in general, going as best as we can. Just keep an eye on the site for those updates as we head forth.
