A new MMO, Age Of Water, is heading out to us with Age Of Water getting an Alpha Test very soon
If you have been hoping to see a MMO set in a world dominated by water, then get ready for Age Of Water to set sail on us all. All of which with a familiar-looking setting for a lot of film buffs out there but has zero connection to it all. It just happens to be a version of Earth that has seen the world covered in water with boats, barges, and flying machines being the only way we all survive on a bit more. All with a whole lot of imagery in Age Of Water that feels familiar to it all. I am still not going to mention where my mind is going with it, but you can most likely see it there when you have a look at the latest trailer.
In Age Of Water, it looks like we will have to search the new world with our customized ships. All while fending off from pirates and the other issues out there on the high seas. It does not look like we will have the fun twist of a character we might be expecting, but it does give us all one more post-apocalypse to head into on our PC if we so choose. That and if we want to give Age Of Water a try before we buy, there is that Alpha Test that is what spawned this whole update. Have a look and see if this will be a game just for you or not.
Age Of Water — Alpha Test Announce
Age Of Water tells the story of a distant future when the Earth has been transformed into an ocean world. Residents live in cities built upon whatever urban structures remain above the water’s surface including skyscraper rooftops and giant statues. Take control of a motorboat and travel between settlements, fighting pirates, excavating the remnants of a lost civilization from the depths of the ocean, and transport valuable goods whilst discovering whether the mythical land still exists.
Gaijin Entertainment in partnership with The Three Whales Studio today revealed its new online adventure Age Of Water. Set in a post-apocalyptic water world and developed as a Gaijin inCubator title, Age Of Water will be available for PC on the gaijin.net platform. The first Alpha test for Age Of Water begins soon.
Did you have a game like Age Of Water on your list of titles you were expecting this year or is it a nice little surprise? Do you see all of the similarities between this game and a different film that came out so long ago? When do you think we might see this title out there in that Alpha form or will it be a way into next year before that happens? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all. If we have anything else to share for Age Of Water, we will share it all here. Be sure to keep checking in for all of that and much more.
