A new version of BloodRayne and BloodRayne 2 has been announced to bring the games into a modern PC gaming environment
Talk about an IP that has been requested for a long time and then had little to go on for a while now as BloodRayne has. It was something that caught the hearts and minds of so many back when Terminal Reality first crafted it for us and now I am glad to let you know that it will be happening again on the PC. That is, we have the official announcement that we will see a BloodRayne: Terminal Cut and BloodRayne 2: Terminal Cut hitting the digital stores on November 20th for all of those that want to relive this action RPG title. If you have not been replaying it in other ways before now at least.
As it turns out, Ziggurat Interactive wanted to give fans out there a new way to experience BloodRayne and thus these new editions of the game are here. Both of which are a remaster and not a remake before you start going down that path, but still nice nonetheless. It will allow us to see the game in a 4K setting with new lighting and other things we would expect in a current title. They will both work with the more modern controllers if that is the way you would rather play the games. Both will also feature upscaled videos of the scenes in the game so you can try to see how it could look with the fancier PCs we all have now. Although, I will have to warn you that the Screenshots we do have still show how dated the games are. Maybe this will push things forward so we finally get the next-gen version for the franchise. Time will only tell.
Today, publisher of retro-and-modern games Ziggurat Interactive is pleased to announce that later this month, they will release updated versions of the classic third-person vampire-themed action-RPGs, BloodRayne and BloodRayne 2. In a nod to the series’ original developers, Terminal Reality, and to reflect their direct work on these new releases, these updated games will be named BloodRayne: Terminal Cut and BloodRayne 2: Terminal Cut.
These two enhanced versions will be available on Steam and GOG.com on November 20, 2020, and will feature many improvements for PC players.

- Support for higher display resolutions (up to 4K / 3840×2160)
