New gameplay for Dishonored 2 has been released as well as another pre-order incentive that could put Dishonored 2 in your hands early
There are some cool things going on for Dishonored 2 right now and hopefully you are lucky enough to be around them. If you haven’t been paying attention, Bethesda is hosting a few small events that the public can go to check out the game a bit early. For those not lucky enough to be near any of those events, there is still hope for you as it looks like Arkane Studios has put together another great bit of gameplay for Dishonored 2 as well as given a new reason to pre-order the game before November 11th. Doing so will land you the game early after all.
That’s right, the first bit of news here is that those who pre-order Dishonored 2 will be able to get the game on November 10th. This is a worldwide thing and not a region specific thing from what I have read. I’m going to guess that those pre-orders will now get a code for you to be able to download the full game before the physical version shows up, or a day before you could download it anyway. If that weren’t the case I’d find it hard for them to be able to dictate to all of the stores out there to not sell any copies to those who didn’t pre-order. Just my thought though.
On top of that, we also have some new gameplay for Dishonored 2 that looks to show off an early mission in the game. I say this as it looks like there are still a few basic tutorials and tips that are still popping up during the gameplay although that shows up more when we see it all through the eyes of Corvo and not Emily. Her gameplay is up first so you can see a nice clean run of the Clockwork Mansion in a High Chaos setting. No one and nothing is safe here so it is really just a few paths to kill everything and not how to sneak and talk your way out of any of the fights; for all you spoiler free people.
Dishonored 2 — Clockwork Mansion (Emily)
Now that you’ve seen Emily in action and taking everything down with perfection in Dishonored 2, let’s have a look at Corvo running through the same mission. It is a bit clunkier and it looks like a real gamer is playing and not someone tasked with demoing off the game so keep that in mind when you question why it takes Corvo a lot longer to reach the end than it did Emily. But at least you get to see how Dishonored 2 will handle in our hands and not someone from Arkane Studios‘ hands.
Dishonored 2 — Clockwork Mansion (Corvo)
Watch as Emily Kaldwin navigates the grand inventor’s treacherous and intricate Clockwork Mansion using her supernatural abilities, weapons and gadgets – eliminating anyone who gets in her way.
Reprise your role as a supernatural assassin in Dishonored 2, the next chapter in the award-winning Dishonored saga by Arkane Studios, set to launch worldwide on November 11, 2016 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Have you pre-ordered Dishonored 2 yet or have you been holding out for something like this? Do you think that the two different styles of play are going to be that drastic or will it just be different powers in play as well as character models? Does it bother you that the second gameplay looks like there might need to be a bit more “polish” added to the game or was that player just more of a novice than we know? Let us know your thoughts and discuss in the comments below. For more on Dishonored 2 as we get it, be sure to be right here as we’ll place it all online as quickly as we can.
