Check Out The First Few Minutes Of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate — The First 5 Minutes Of The World Of Light Story Mode

The first few minutes of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has popped up online and we have a chance to see where this new Smash Bros. title is going to take us

If you are like me then you are counting the days until Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be coming to your Switch. It has always been one of the franchises that I have loved over all of my Nintendo devices over the year and it is looking like this one will keep that love going. It does feel like it will take a lot to ruin that for me when it comes to Smash Bros. and I am sure that there is little to no sign of it coming. Hate me if you want, but that is how I feel and December 7th feels like an eternity to wait as of right now. Just a few more weeks is all.

I guess it is a good thing then that we have a new gameplay video for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate to look at so we can be held over. It is actually the first five minutes of the game, as the description states, that gives us a look at the story mode we will be playing in. That and a look at the first character we will have to fight as and the enemies we will have to take on. I will not say anything here so those looking to stay spoiler free can. You can see it all down below if you just want to see where the game is at this point and get even more excited for it as I am. Even if it does show a few deviations over the previous Smash Bros. games we have had.

The journey to defeat Galeem begins! Check out the first five minutes of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s World of Light story mode.

I will say it does seem a bit odd to not have the dialog and narration actually spoken here in this Smash Bros. game though. Not that it is a huge turnoff from the game thus far, but it feels weird given that we have some of the characters saying things and then have to turn to read dialog to find out what is going on. That and also having to interpret what is going on in the background animations to better understand it all. Not that the Smash Bros. franchise has been known for its epic stories, but it just feels a bit off to me. I guess I will just suck it up and then enjoy the game in any instance.

What do you think about these opening minutes of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate that we have here today? Do you find it odd as I did or does it make sense given the hardware and franchise thus far? Will you even be playing the story mode or will you just dive in to take on your friends in the core gameplay here? Tell us what you are thinking down in the comments and join the discussion. If I am able to find more on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate to share, I will share it all here. Be sure to stick around on the site so you can be fully informed.
