More gameplay for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is here to show us how missions can play out differently than a tradition Assassin’s Creed mission
Add another mission from Assassin’s Creed Odyssey to have a look at here. One more in the growing list of them and there does not seem to be a sign that they are slowing down. Given how many that Ubisoft crammed in the last game, I would not be surprised to see even more out there and still not scraped the surface of what the full game will hold. More so as this latest mission highlights one of the new features coming to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey in the manner of player choice will change the flow of the game. We are definitely getting more RPG in our AC games here.
For the most part it would seem this mission plays out like many others in the Assassin’s Creed universe. Someone asks us to go do something they do not have the time or skill to go do. We say yes. We wrap things up and come back. The difference here is that it looks like we are presented with more options on how to get to the end of the mission and it could lead to other NPC deaths based on that choice. While the player here takes the more direct path, it does sound like if we appease the hunted NPC, we could drastically affect the assigning NPC. It is not shown in the video here, but it is alluded to. Have a look.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey — 11 Minutes Of Mission Gameplay
Alexios agrees to aid the legendary physician Hippokrates in this exclusive mission gameplay from Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
Do you think that we will have these options all the time in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey or will it only be for specific missions as we saw here? Do you think that there is truly a timer on the characters who set the mission here or could Alexios took his time to get the second NPC to come completely willingly and still save everyone? Will one option give more XP or will it all be the same when everything is said and done? Let us know what you are thinking after seeing the latest for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey here and then discuss down in the comments. I am sure we will have a whole lot more to share for the game in the future, so stick around and keep watch.
