We Will Finally Get To Back To Pandora With Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora

Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora — First Look

The first look at Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora is here from E3 to take us back into the fantastic world of Avatar in a virtual form

The long tease is finally over, as we now have the announce and reveal for Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora coming out to us on the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. This would be the title that that Ubisoft announced way back in 2017 and now we will be able to see the game hit us all in 2022. There is no specific date to look at for it, but we at least get to know that we will see something truly new for the Avatar IP out there besides a lot of talk and speculation. We can still do that, as Massive Entertainment only gave us a small bit of footage that we do have ere. Possibly it is actual gameplay in the mix of it all but it could also be some cinematic footage to give us the grand scope of it all instead. It is something truly new to see, so I know I will take it all.

This game looks like it will take us into the world of Avatar again and in a form of an open-world. We will be playing as one of the Na’vi out there as we explore some new parts of the world we have not seen. It sounds like we will be doing it all as one of the natives and not one being ridden as was the case in Avatar the first time. That way we can see the humans out there as the true threat to the planet and not as the weird saviors of a culture that could have saved themselves in the first place. Weirdly, though, it does look like we will not be seeing much of the weird “connection” stuff that we saw in the films based on what we have here. That could all change once we see how things will actually work, though. My guess is that we will have to “connect” to expand the maps and secure locations out there. If that is something that they keep from the film. Have a look at the basic footage we have to go on too.

Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora — First Look

Coming in 2022 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Stadia, and Luna.

Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora is a first-person, action-adventure game developed by Massive Entertainment — a Ubisoft studio, in collaboration with Lightstorm Entertainment and Disney.

Built using the latest iteration of the Snowdrop engine, and developed exclusively for the new generation of consoles and PC, Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora brings to life the alluring world of Pandora with all of its beauty and danger in an immersive, open-world experience.

In this new, standalone story, play as a Na’vi and embark on a journey across the Western Frontier, a never-before-seen part of Pandora. Explore a living and reactive world inhabited by unique creatures and new characters, and push back the formidable RDA forces that threaten it.

Did you think that the Avatar game announced before was dead after such a long bit of silence out there? Do you think we will actually get to play as a native out there and not as another outsider being the savior? Could we expect to see some of the strange elements from the film still show or will they try to move away from all of that for the game? Tell us what you are thinking about all of this down in the comments. There should be a whole lot more coming for Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora, and I will do what I can to bring it all to you. Please keep checking back on the site for all of that and what the rest of the team has to offer up out of E3.
