Twin Mirror Will Have You Questioning What Is Real In 2019

Twin Mirror — Welcome To Basswood

Another new game is announced with Twin Mirror and we may be questioning our brains when we finally come to the end of Twin Mirror

It has not even been more than a week since DontNod released their last title and here we are with an announcement for Twin Mirror here just before E3. I am not going to complain at all, but it definitely looks like they are on a roll here and bringing out titles that take us into different worlds and narratives on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Not to mention that Bandai Namco teamed up with Sony to make Twin Mirror the third early announcement for the week before E3 officially kicks off. Not a terrible way for any of them to start it all off.

Now that we have that out of the way, what do we know for Twin Mirror here with this announcement. Obviously, it is another narrative game and this one is a psychological thriller title that will place us in West Virginia where the protagonist, Sam, has just come home for a funeral for one of his friends. He also just went through a rough break-up just to pile it all on. Well, he wakes up the next day with blood all over his clothes and no explanation on what happened over the night. This is where he needs to start recalling his memories and try to figure everything out. That is more or less the basics of Twin Mirror that we have been given as well.

It also looks like we will need to dive into some memories and dreams in Twin Mirror as well. That would at least make more sense based on some of the scenes we see here in the trailer just below. Have a look and you will see what I am talking about. Then get ready to wait and see when we will get more on how all of the narrative options in Twin Mirror will build to different struggles and stories. I would like to think we will know a lot more out of E3 now that it has been announced for 2019.
