The Court Of Owls Are Out In The Night For The Gotham Knights

Gotham Knights — Court Of Owls

The story for Gotham Knights is detailed a bit more with the Gotham Knights facing off with the Court of Owls during the game

Things are getting back on track for Gotham Knights, as we just had a massive drop of information during the DC Fandome over the weekend. Specifically in the terms of the true villains in the game that WB Games Montréal is going to have for us in 2022. It looks like the Court of Owls will be the ones pulling all of the strings in the world of Gotham Knights and since Batman is dead here, it looks like they might have been running a bit more unchecked out there. That is why we have the team of the four that we do have here aiming to take them down and save the very souls and populace of Gotham out there. It sure does feel like the Court of Owls is the latest and greatest for the IP now and will work their way into all of the different titles coming up soon.

On the plus side from that, it does sound like the Court of Owls’ Tallons in the world of Gotham Knights will be a bit different than their comic book counterparts. Seeing as there is only really one and is used as the enforcer of the group, in the game here, we will see a hierarchy and various different versions of the character to give us variant enemies to take down. My guess is that this could be on top of the basic thugs we have seen in past videos for Gotham Knights, but given the delay that happened, this could be the new direction that the team is going with. You can get a better look at all of this in the following videos that show a little bit of gameplay. Mostly, they focus on the antagonists we will see out there. We will just have to wait a bit longer to see how it all shakes out in terms of the gameplay.

Gotham Knights — Court Of Owls Story

Batman, Jim Gordon – they thought they had a handle on Gotham City, but there are hidden forces at play that no one talks about. It is up to the Gotham Knights – Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin – to uncover the secrets of this city’s past before it’s too late. But beware, the Court of Owls is always watching, always listening.

Gotham Knights — Court Of Owls: Behind The Scenes

Check out this first behind-the-scenes look at the making of Gotham Knights.

Scott Snyder, Greg Capullo, and Jim Lee share the origins of the Court of Owls, and the team at WB Montreal discusses how they brought this iconic comic story to life.

Was it safe to assume that the Court was going to be the main antagonists in Gotham Knights or is this a twist that you did not expect? How about the use of Tallon in the game and how it will be multiple people in the mix to give us a variety of enemies? How do you think this will build into the other games out there, if at all, given how it is left on its own beyond the characters and setting? Give us all of your thoughts on this and more down in the comments and then let the discussion fly. We will have much more to share for Gotham Knights, for sure, and you will need to keep a close eye on the site for all of that and more. Do not miss a single thing if you can.
