South Park: The Fractured But Whole Has A New Vigilante Out Doing Super Hero Stuff

South Park: The Fractured But Whole — The Farting Vigilante

A new release date for South Park: The Fractured But Whole has been set and it looks like we’ll be back in South Park farting on everyone this October

It looks like South Park: The Fractured But Whole may be just in sight now as it looks like we have a new release date for the game to look forward to. Unless it is hit with any further delays, it looks like Ubisoft is planning to bring us this game finally on October 17th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Hopefully this isn’t another tease as we’ve been waiting for South Park: The Fractured But Whole since December of last year and it has been hit with too many delays. Hopefully they really, really mean it this time as it has been a long wait for a game that looks to bring us all some more amazing fun with a new twist.

To go right along with the release date announcement, we also have a new trailer for South Park: The Fractured But Whole to look at here. It does show a bit more of the game but nothing truly new that we have yet to see; unless you are interested in seeing a lot of random time-bending farts. One interesting thing seen here, that could mean nothing, is a fun little back and forth with Cartman about having multiple classes in the game. So far we’ve been led to believe that we get one class at the start of the game and then play through, much like South Park: The Stick Of Truth. Does this mean we can duel class in the game? Or possibly even triple class if the joke does carry out? Hopefully we’ll see here at E3.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole — The Farting Vigilante

Play South Park: The Fractured But Whole on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on October 17th.

Evil is rising in the town of South Park. A mysterious vigilante prowls the night defending the innocent using amazing fart powers. As the New Kid, become a super hero and unleash your vigilante justice on the enemies of South Park. Will your time-bending farts be enough to save the day?

It also seems good to note that the game’s release date slightly syncs up with the twenty-first season of South Park with the season coming to an end about a month after The Fractured But Whole launches. This could just be a bit of marketing synergy being used by Ubisoft here, but given how the studios have altered their episode writing process, given that they are trying to plan ahead a bit, maybe this could be linked in a way with the show. Hopefully more than The Stick Of Truth was when it came out. We can hope that maybe in South Park: The Fractured But Whole we’ll see a few of the more recent ideas seep in as that would truly set the game apart here.

How excited are you to see that South Park: The Fractured But Whole finally has a release date…again? Do you think that they will be able to keep this date or could we be plagued with more delays for little to no reasons given? Could we have the ability to multi-class in the game or will this just be a running gag as the team is well known for already? Let us know down in the comments and then discuss. As we learn more on South Park: The Fractured But Whole, we will bring it to you. Keep locked into the site here to make sure you see and hear it all. Hopefully this is all for real now.
