Resident Evil Village Gives Us A Whole Lot More Than We Expected

Resident Evil Village — 3rd Trailer

The Resident Evil Village showcase happened and we ended up getting much more Resident Evil than we could have expected

There was a whole lot more for Resident Evil Village than just a new trailer out there during the most recent showcase that Capcom had for us. That was in there along with the release date for May 7th now. That and that we will also see the game hitting the PS4 and Xbox One on top of the already announced PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC version we knew was coming to us. Just when you think we are all done with the Resident Evil Village we also get some new gameplay, a Demo that we can play right now, and then the mix of another multiplayer title in the wings for those that pre-order this one. So much out there.

All of this is below for those that want to spend the thirty minutes seeing everything for Resident Evil that is out there. We get a new showcase of what looks like will be one of the main villains of the game and that would be the character dubbed “giant vampire lady” and here “sisters.” All of whom look like they are more of a collective swarm of insects that they used to torment Ethan out there in the world. Along with a few other fantasy looking monsters and the ravenous zombies that Resident Evil is always known for. Even if this all makes it look like they are deviating from the science and moving more to the supernatural in the horror setting.

In addition to seeing all of this, we have some new gameplay for Resident Evil Village that will place us back in the first-person role of Ethan again. He is a bit more advanced and will not only be able to attack but also defend as he goes about the village and castle in the game. He will also need to craft various items in the game besides just the normal healing herbs. It also looks like that famous Resident Evil 4 merchant will be back in a new form and offer us all kinds of things to help Ethan out in the horror he is in. It seems like it will be an interesting adventure to go on and thankfully most of us do not have to wait that long to give it a play.

Resident Evil Village — 3rd Trailer

Fear surrounds you in Resident Evil Village, unleashing a new chapter of survival horror on PS5, PS4, XBSX, XB1, and PC on May 7th, 2021.

Also mixed in to these announcements for Resident Evil Village, including a Collector’s Edition that comes with a Chris statue, we have another multiplayer coming with the game called RE: Verse. Unlike some of the other multiplayer games we have had in the past for this IP, it looks like this one will just be a six-player deathmatch that will have characters from all of the Resident Evil titles facing off. For some reason. I do not know. It will be a free addition for those that pick up Village, so it is not much of a risk for the gamers if we want to give it a try. It does not look overly impressive in the below video but we could be surprised.

Resident Evil Village — Re:Verse

This online multiplayer title was created as a thank you to fans for the 25th anniversary of the Resident Evil series. Available for free to purchasers of Resident Evil Village, it features beloved Resident Evil characters as they clash in six-person deathmatches!
