Photo Mode Is Coming To Spider-Man On Day One Of Launch

Spider-Man — Photo Mode

We have a look at the photo mode that is coming to Spider-Man as a day one update as well as a look at another Spider-Man villain

It would a be a weird thing if a Spider-Man game did not have a photo system in it of some sort given the franchise and character’s history with snapping photos in general. We have seen things like it from the past but it looks like Insomniac Games is giving us a new version of the Photo Mode we have come to enjoy in many other games. Even if this one does not fully fit in the world of Spider-Man the way it should, it will be bringing us some new and interesting ways to look at the world and share. All of which will now be part of the game on September 7th when it finally hits the PS4. Even if it will need to be a day-one update we will all need to download if we want it.

As you will see in the following trailer for Spider-Man‘s Photo Mode, we will get all of the usual features we have had in other versions of it all. We will also have the ability to snap shots and place them onto the covers of comics and The Daily Bugle in the game as well. All so we can try to show off our version of the character to our friends and the world. You know, because this is all something we like to do in our games now instead of just enjoy them for the fun. I guess we will see how it all plays out for Spider-Man though and if it will live up to the hype we have had for a while now.

Spider-Man — Photo Mode

Check out Photo Mode, coming free to Spider-Man as part of our Day 1 Update!

As a nice little extra, we have a very small look at the first DLC coming to Spider-Man on October 23rd here. This is nothing new given that Insomniac Games has already placed out the timeline for the releases of it all. We do have a look at Black Cat now in the game and slightly what we may need to do in the DLC. It also looks like it will be a fully fleshed out story instead of a few minor quests around the living New York. I mean, you would not put together a full cinematic style of thing if it was something that was going to be audio logs in the end of it all. That is my hope for Spider-Man at least.

Spider-Man — The Heist

Marvel’s Spider-Man: The Heist — Felicia Hardy aka Black Cat, is back in town and leaving mysterious clues around Marvel’s New York to toy with Spider-Man. Available for download October 23rd, 2018.

Are you excited to see the photo mode in Spider-Man here or will it be something you skip over? Do you think this will be the only tie back to Peter’s photojournalism in the game or will we have true reasons to snap photos in the game? What do you think about Black Cat here in the game and do you think we will only be getting audio logs at the end of the day? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. For more footage of Spider-Man, keep checking in here. We will keep bringing you everything that we can for the game up to and beyond its release this week.
