PAYDAY 3 Tosses Out More Gameplay To Make Us All Hit The Floor

PAYDAY 3 — Gameplay

New gameplay for PAYDAY 3 is here to make sure we know we are getting the same PAYDAY fun in a new bank setting

The gameplay keeps on flowing out there for PAYDAY 3 to get us all hyped up for the September 21st release date for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. They are little chunks at a time but it is still showing us what Starbreeze Studios has been putting together for a while now. All with the latest giving us more of the base PAYDAY gameplay but in the Secure Capital Bank in the middle of New York City. The fictional version of it all made for the game and not something that we should think is based on any real bank out there. That would get the game blocked insanely fast if it was, would it not?

Anyway, here we get to watch as Wolf, Chains, Dallas, and Hoxton gear up in PAYDAY fashion and make the patrons hit the floor. All while tipping off the cops they are there and then getting into a massive firefight. We never do get to see how these things would play out if the crew went in quiet and took the place in a very strategic way. Even in the last gameplay we had for PAYDAY 3. Then again, I do not think that would make for the most exciting video game experience to be had out there. Thus, why it is all bullets flying everywhere all the time. It is more exciting that way and does build up a bit more hype for the game.

PAYDAY 3 — Gameplay

PAYDAY 3 is a co-op heist first-person shooter developed by Starbreeze Studios. Take a look at the latest gameplay trailer taking place at a branch location of Secure Capital Bank somewhere in the bowels of New York City where Payday Gang members Dallas, Chains, Wolf, and Hoxton all set out to show the world they’re still in business.

PAYDAY 3 will be available on Steam, the Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 on September 21, 2023.

I do need to say that PAYDAY 3 does not look like it is going to be harnessing all of the power out there in the current hardware from this trailer. That or the edit is very compressed and does not look like it is making even the 1080p or 30 fps mark when it comes to it all. This could be to undersell the visuals and lean into the gameplay fun of it all, but it does feel off since it is only coming to the next-gen systems. My hope is that the trailer cuts are just not the best quality and indicative of the final version we should be getting in PAYDAY 3. I know I will keep my fingers crossed in hopes that is how it truly is for now.

Are you curious to see why all of the PAYDAY 3 action leads into a massive firefight or will that just be how it is all the time? Would you want to play the game if it was all well-planned and stealthy or does it need to turn into these massive bullet-hell styles of things? Are the visuals being downplayed for now or is this just how the trailers are getting placed out there for us? Take to the comments and then feel free to discuss all of that. We have more to share for PAYDAY 3, so please keep checking back in for all of that and everything else we can offer up to you. I know you will not be let down by any of it.
