Newish Gameplay For South Park: The Fractured But Whole Is Here

South Park: The Fractured But Whole — Gamescom 2016

Right out of Gamescom we have some new South Park: The Fractured But Whole gameplay and get to see just how the heroes will be saving South Park in their own way

We all heard about what could be at Gamescom from South Park: The Fractured But Whole in terms of the experience and getting farts in your face. For those who can’t be on the show floor and experience just that, it looks like Ubisoft has opted to give us yet another trailer for the game spliced with a bit more new gameplay. It does have a lot that we’ve already seen or heard for South Park already but it does show off some of the combat we’ll experience when we choose our creation story, or are told it, when the game launches on December 6th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Sadly though, it looks like we non-convention goers are going to be limited here with only a few extra seconds or so of truly new gameplay footage for South Park: The Fractured But Whole as most of this is recycled content from before. Specifically the fight scene that takes place during the backstory portion of the game where we will gain our super powers. Again it is assumed we also selected the speedster here but I am guessing this is all we’re going to see until the game’s launch. Although there is still plenty of time for them to give us some breakdowns on how the combat and everything will play out.

If anything though it is another great reminder that there is a new South Park game on the way and you don’t have to strap on a system to force you to smell the boy’s farts. I’m guessing that sometime after Gamescom here we’ll get to see what was shown off there in full form and then we’ll just have to “blame the dog” or eat more beans to get the full experience out of the convention.

Are you shocked with how little we have in way of new stuff for South Park: The Fractured But Whole here? Do you think that we’ll get to see all of the features shown off this week on the floor at a later date or will we have to wait for the launch? Do you think that the experience is going to be something that all of the attendees are going to be talking about? Let us know and comment down below. For all things South Park be sure to stay right here as we’ll keep it all coming as it is released. Hopefully something solid soon.
