Navigating The Underworld Is Going To Be Core In Star Wars Outlaws

Star Wars Outlaws — Navigating The Underworld [BTS]

Here is another taste of the Underworld coming in Star Wars Outlaws that will offer up new elements to the Star Wars universe

There is still a whole lot to Star Wars Outlaws that we do not know as of yet, while still a whole lot we do know. August 30th is quickly approaching and the game is about to land on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, so it is about time for Massive Entertainment to offer up a bit more for the game. That and Ubisoft does want to make sure we are all extra excited for it to launch. This is why we are back with another behind-the-scenes video for Star Wars Outlaws that takes us deeper into the underworld. The criminal underworld and not the land of the dead that I am so very fond of. Without further gilding the lily, let us have a look at what else we are going to be playing with in this game.

The big takeaway out of this new video is that we are going to need to keep working toward relationships in this Star Wars universe with the various organizations. Many that we already know, but a few more that have been made specifically for this game. A nice little twist for those who think they will be able to game the reputation system from the start based on their lore already. At least if you want to have access to all of the various missions, locations, and gear that will be available in Star Wars Outlaws. Many factions do not play well together, so we are going to have to ride that fine line or know when to turn on the others when needed. Even if that does mean that we will be hunted down and actively attacked during the rest of the game if we do not play the cards exactly right.

I am certainly a fan of getting to see new things added into the Star Wars universe with these new cartels. I am only worried that the team was not allowed to make any of them more powerful than others due to what the lore of the IP has already set. I am also hoping that we will be able to play all the factions just as well and do not need to choose one over the other all the time. It would be nice to be able to be that one player on this galactic game where all the organizations know and like us even if they know we are dealing with their enemies. It seems rare in the Star Wars universe to allow for that, but I know I am not a fan of building up reputations with multiple factions only for it all to be for naught because the gameplay mechanics will not allow for it. Let us be perfectly balanced out there…

What do you think about these new factions coming into the Star Wars universe and will they add everything you have been hoping for out there? Will we be able to keep up relations with everyone or will we always need to choose one over the other? Would you like to see some of the newer factions in the IP become more powerful than we have seen the others already or will that never happen in this IP due to decades of fan expectations? Speed on down to the comment section to discuss all of that and everything else we have to offer up for you. We are going to have a whole lot more for Star Wars Outlaws moving forward, so please keep on checking back in for all of that and everything else we have to offer up along the way.
