It Is Almost Time To Survive The Hostile World Of Seeking Dawn

Seeking Dawn — Gameplay Trailer

Just before the launch of Seeking Dawn, we have a nice bit of gameplay to let us see what to expect when we play Seeking Dawn in VR

Next week on July 12th we are going to see the launch of Seeking Dawn on the various VR platforms we have out there. This would be the next title in the list of Multiverse Inc‘s works and we have all seen so very little for it so far. So little, in fact, we now have the first gameplay footage for Seeking Dawn to look at and take it to see if we are going to be adding it to the list of our HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, or PlayStation VR titles next week. A fairly quick turnaround for all of this, but it may just pay off if you like to explore new worlds, see new creatures, and shoot everything in sight to make sure you can find your lost team on the unexplored planet.

Obviously, there is a lot more to Seeking Dawn than just that, but a quick look at the following gameplay will show you just that. It looks like it will be using a free movement system to get around instead of the teleportation style that VR games generally have. Movement looks to be linked to your arms as well as swinging them as you would while running will make your character move faster in the game. Outside of that, it looks like a good shooter title with a story quite a bit the same as we see in many Sci-Fi stories about trying to find lost allies on a hostile planet. Let us just hope that Seeking Dawn tries to move away from those usual tropes we see and know.

Seeking Dawn — Gameplay Trailer

Welcome to Seeking Dawn, a science fiction VR survival adventure that takes you far beyond the solar system. Step into the shoes of a soldier discovering a hostile planet, where predators roam freely and enemies are trigger-happy. As you follow the trail of an allied recon squad, your task is to find out what happened to them and what they came here for.

Combining sharp gunplay with dedicated survival elements, Seeking Dawn’s campaign will throw you into unforgettable environments and pit you against unforgiving adversaries. Do you have what it takes to survive?

What thoughts do you have on Seeking Dawn as it all looks at this point? Is it a bit odd to only be getting the first gameplay now or does it matter to you as you enjoyed every second of it? How do you feel about the movement style that we will most likely be getting in the game and do you think it will run smooth enough to not cause motion sickness? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. If there is more to share for Seeking Dawn, we will share it. Just be sure to keep coming back to the site here to see and hear it all.
