Hidden Deep Is Crawling Its Way Out At Us

Hidden Deep — Release Trailer

The release of Hidden Deep is here and Hidden Deep is heading into its Early Access today

The wait has slightly come to an end for Hidden Deep, as the Early Access of the game is here for us to jump into on the PC. Cogwheel Software has the game at a place where it should be stable enough for the gaming community to give it all a go and help get it ready for the final launch. With that, you can now head over to the Steam store and give the game a download to explore all of the 2D action and Sci-Fi that Hidden Deep currently has in store for us. Not to mention all of the general horrors that should be flooding down in the depths of the game to keep this from being just a basic mining simulation game out there.

For those that have missed out on Hidden Deep before now, we will be heading over a mile beneath the ocean floor to do a bit of drilling and exploration for a mining and research company. As mentioned before, there is a bit of horror to it all, as it is soon discovered that there are some darker entities lurking down there that we will have to manage along with the day-to-day operations of the rest of the crews. All so we can make it out of the Hidden Deep and make sure we are able to save everyone and, my guess, the world in the process. Have a look at the trailer we have to go with this announcement and then download it if it fits your gaming style.

Hidden Deep — Release Trailer

Hidden Deep is a 2D action & exploration sci-fi game set in a mining and research facility — more than a mile under the ocean floor. Climb, drill, shoot, use gadgets and survive the horrors that lurk below.

A group of researchers detected strange anomalies of unknown nature and organized an expedition to examine the mysterious phenomenon. Suddenly, after 681 days, contact with the researchers breaks off. You are the leader of the second team: Go down there, find out what happened, rescue anybody who is alive.

Will you be heading into the Hidden Deep now that you can in Early Access? Do you think that we will be the invading force or will it stick to the normal horror trope that we opened up the doom? Would you rather just see this as the underground simulation than anything with the horror mixed in? Tell us those thoughts down in the comments. If there is more to share for Hidden Deep, I will add it to the site for you. Please keep checking back on the site for all of those updates and much more out there.
