Get Ready To Launch Some Fools With Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition

Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition — Launch Trailer

A launch trailer for Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition has been released to show us even more on how Bulletstorm has been upgraded and worth our time and money again

In case you forgot, Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition will be launching on April 7th here for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. We’ve brought this up before as this is the remastered version of People Can Fly‘s insane, bullet-hell driven title from a while back that had a nice little following for it. It’s been given a bit of a tune up and a fresh coat of paint and will soon be out there for everyone to drive around like an asshole if they wish. That is not a testament to what I think of Bulletstorm mind you, just a fitting description of how it all came together again based on the titles themes and setting. I’m actually very glad that it is coming out again for the newer systems.

Of course, Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition isn’t just a basic remaster though. It’s a bundle of all of the content we had before when the game first launched with a great little extra added into the mix; we can play as Duke Nukem. This isn’t the first announcement of that, but more a reminder so you can think about giving Bulletstorm a full try again but through the eyes and voice of Duke instead of the space marine we have as a protagonist in the first place. That should shake things up enough for those who’ve played it a few times now to get some kind of new experience. It is at least all fresh dialog from the voice of the character after all. So there is that.

Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition — Launch Trailer

Featuring updated hi-res textures, increased polygon counts, sterling audio, smoother framerates, and running in up to 4K resolution on PC and PS4 Pro, this definitive version of the action-packed, critically-acclaimed FPS comes with all of its previously-released DLC along with brand-new content. And for the first time ever, players will get the chance to play Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition as the iconic Duke Nukem. Featuring a fully rerecorded script and brand new lines from the voice of Duke, Jon St. John, the Duke Nukem’s Bulletstorm Tour add-on content will replace main character Grayson Hunt with The King himself and provide players with a whole new butt-kicking perspective on the cult-classic shooter.

The ultimate Bulletstorm experience, Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition includes:

  • The Total Package – All previously-released content, including the Gun Sonata and Blood Symphony add-on packs, now on modern platforms.
  • New Overkill Campaign Mode – Upon completing the main campaign, blast through this New Game+ mode with an unrestricted arsenal of weapons and Skillshots.
  • New Echo Maps – Players can showcase their skills on six brand-new levels for the score-based Echo Mode.
  • Killer Visuals – Presented with updated models, environments, and animations all running at 60 FPS across all platforms.
  • The Art of Destruction – Pull off masterful kills by mixing fast-paced gunplay with unique kick, slide, and leash combos.
  • Visceral Audio – Orchestrate a crescendo of chaos with newly remastered audio effects.
  • Duke Nukem’s Bulletstorm Tour – Play through the entire Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition campaign as Duke Nukem, featuring full voice over and brand-new lines from Jon St. John, the original voice of Duke.

Are you does to give Bulletstorm another go or will this be more for the first-timers out there who have yet to experience it at all? Does adding in Duke make it different enough for you to give it another purchase or is it the other little extras that will do it? Do you think this could prompt People Can Fly to try and do a sequel to the game or just to keep them floating while they work on their next title? Let us know down in the comments and discuss. Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition is out on April 7th and hopefully we’ll see more from the franchise. If we do, you know we will have it all here. Keep checking in so you don’t miss out on any of that.
