Fracked is making its way over to the PC platforms so more can experience what Fracked has to offer up
The PSVR crowd will finally be sharing another title with the PC VR crowd with the announcement that Fracked will be making the jump over soon. This is the latest title that nDreams brought to the world that let the player virtually experience what it is like to be an action star. All with first-person combat and free movement in the world to keep things going all forms of crazy out there. All so you can save humanity in Fracked and bring the world even more peace out there. All while causing all forms of mayhem with the usual style of motion we should normally expect in the mix. Who would not want to be the next big action hero out there?
This new version of Fracked is hitting the Viveport and Steam VR on May 5th with it hitting the Rift store just a bit later. It will run natively for the Vive Pro, Index, and Rift but will need to be linked in for the Quest systems out there. It looks like Fracked will need more of that computing power to keep it going at the best that it can. You can get a slight look at how it will flow in the following trailer, but it is only a slight look at how well it could feel once you don your headset and start out there to save the world again.
Fracked — PC VR Announcement
Fracked, the trailblazing and critically acclaimed VR action-adventure game, hits Viveport and Steam on May 5th (coming to Rift Store shortly afterward). The game is natively compatible with HTC Vive Pro, Valve Index, and Rift S headsets, while Meta Quest and Quest 2 owners can get involved in the action via Oculus Link Cable/Air Link.
Become the action hero as you find yourself stuck deep in a remote mountain facility, forced into a final stand between the planet and a legion of interdimensional enemies. This fast-paced adventure is bold, brash, and uncompromising. Alone, on the edge, and really fracked off, humanity’s survival is in your gloved hands!
Originally released for PS VR last summer, Fracked’s first-person combat and free movement earned praise from reviewers and players alike, with the game featured on multiple ‘Best of 2021’ lists and nominated for several awards.
Have you been holding out for Fracked to come to the PC or have you been playing it on the PlayStation for a while now? Do you think the free movement will work best with these new systems or will it need to be wireless to work the best? How long will the Meta gamers need to wait for this title to land and will it only be a few days? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all. If we have more to share for Fracked, you know we will have it all here for you. Just keep checking back in for all of that and everything else that we can find out there.
