Destroy All Humans! 2 — Reprobed Can Be A Lot More Fun With Some Friends

Destroy All Humans! 2 — Reprobed — Co-Op

Destroy All Humans! 2 — Reprobed is going to allow us all to Destroy All Humans with a friend from the start and locally too

If there is one good thing about Destroy All Humans! 2 — Reprobed, it is the fact that we are going to get to head back out there in the game again and show those humans who the boss is. If there are two good things about the game, it is that we will also get to do all of that with a friend through the entire game with local two-player split-screen co-op. Just one more sign that Black Forest Games knows what the Destroy All Humans! fans might want out there even if they do not know it. More so after they dropped the update for the last remake and now show that it is all coming to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on August 30th.

Now that we know it is coming, let us take a look at how some of it is going to look in this Destroy All Humans! 2 title. Spoiler, it is going to look just as off as many other split-screen titles we have had in the past unless you have a massive screen at home. That is at least my take on it as there seems to be a lot of empty space on the screen so that the style of the split works and both share one minimap in the game. I am not sure why they opted to go with this design instead of give full halves of the screen and then minimap overlays for each player. This could also just be my lack of enjoyment of split-screen games as they always feel a bit distracting. That or that I know I will not have friends to play Destroy All Humans! 2 with and need to resolve that fact I will have the full screen and story all to myself. That is how the cookie crumbles here…
