Cody Is Heading Back To The Streets In Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition

Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition — Cody Gameplay

The gameplay reveal for Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition’s next character is here and we can expect to see Cody join Street Fighter V soon

Get ready to add another character to the list of Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition characters on June 26th as Cody Travers is coming back for some more violent fun. Not that we have not been having all of that fun already or in the past when Capcom brought him into the fighting rings, but it is a way to bring him back as part of the character DLC here. At least if you are still down to play Street Fighter V and looking to expand the roster by one or the whole season of character DLC we have for the PS4 and PC. I am sure they would stop pumping this all out there if no one was buying it, right?

Obviously, Cody will be bringing his same move set and style to Street Fighter V here but will also be getting a few tweaks thrown in to make him fit better in with the rest of the roster. He may be an outsider, but he needs to conform to make the matches fair and even. As fair as it can be with him bringing in his lead pipe and knife to a street brawl where most everyone else uses their fists and feet. You can read that as part of his V-Triggers if you have not caught on by now or just skipped down to see him in action for Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition.

Have a look now at just what Cody will be bringing to us for Street Fighter V for the usual $5.99 USD price or as part of the Season 3 Character Pass. This video was cut a little different than we have seen in the past, so do not be thrown off with all of the opening lead up to the gameplay. Capcom had to lead us into it all in a way to make use excited and not forget that he is coming.

Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition — Cody Gameplay

Cody Travers has served his time behind bars, but has now become the new mayor of Metro City. Although quite busy with his everyday duties, he will arrive in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition on June 26 as the fourth character of Season 3! Cody’s move set in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition resembles those from his previous appearances, but altered to fit his new spiffy style.

How do you fell about Cody coming back for Street Fighter V here? Is this a character you wanted to see hit the streets again or is he taking up a slot for something new we could have had? Are you still paying for the DLC here or is Capcom just hoping to grab a few extra bucks with these character add-ons still? Let everyone out there know what you are thinking down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. As more is added to Street Fighter V, we will add it to the site for you. Just be sure to keep checking back in to see and hear it all.
