The release date for Mouse: P.I. For Hire is now set, and we can expect to take up the case with Mouse in 2026
The wait is getting close to over for Mouse: P.I. For Hire, as we now have a release date for the game. Not just one for the PC, but it looks like Fumi Games is ready to share the game with the whole gaming community with a big release. We can then be on the case with our Mouse detective on March 19th, 2026. Okay, so that is missing the 2025 date by a little bit. That happens, and it does mean that we will have one more fun title in the mix that will not be lost in the wave of current titles flowing out there. Not that I think that is the reason we have to wait a bit longer for the game. Thankfully, they only hit us with a 2025 window, so this is less of a delay and more of a “now they know” when it comes to the release.
Just like all good release date announcements, Mouse: P.I. For Hire also comes along and offers up a new bit of gameplay to show us this new rubber hose style of game that we have been waiting for. That, and how far the game has come when it comes to development. As long as you remember or take a look at the earlier footage that we had when the game was first announced and was still just called Mouse. It looked great back then, but the extra time and all of the other additions that have come up since certainly put it all over the top out there. If you do not believe me, well, have a look at it all just a bit further down the page to see how it is going. Then get ready to wait a few more months until the full version of the game drops out there. Maybe we will also get some kind of updated demo to play out there as well. One can hope…
Mouse: P.I. For Hire — Release Date
Mouse: P.I. For Hire, launching 19 March 2026.
Did you have your heart set on playing this game before the end of the year, or did you think that it was going to get pushed out? Do you remember back when the game was just called Mouse, and there was a different look and feel to it all? Will the game be larger than expected, or did all of the work go into making sure the smaller experience looks and sounds as best as possible? Give us all of those thoughts down in the comments, and then feel free to discuss them all. We will offer up all that we can for Mouse: P.I. For Hire, so please keep on checking back here. We have been interested in it for a while now, and can only imagine how great it could be once it fully launches out there.
