The fun of Assassin’s Creed is on the way to the Switch 2, with the announcement for Assassin’s Creed Shadows taking the leap of faith there
It looks like we are going to be able to take some of our assassin skills on the move here soon, with the announcement that Assassin’s Creed Shadows is on the way to the Switch 2. Not all that shocking, as Ubisoft does like to make sure their titles are on all of the platforms as possible, but we finally have the official announcement that it is on the way. Not just on the way, as this does come with a release date too. Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be fully playable on the new platform on December 2nd of this year. So, if you were holding off for one reason or another, you have a bit of an end in sight now for it all. Plenty of time to sharpen all of those hidden blades out there and get ready.
Just in case you have played or been playing Assassin’s Creed Shadows on a different platform, this version will also allow for cross-progression, so you can keep the game flowing as you so wish. Even if it does mean you will need to buy the game at a different time, if you want to take advantage of all of that. Not the best of sells, but an option for those dedicated enough to do so. This version of Assassin’s Creed Shadows will use all of the touchscreen support that the Switch 2 has, so there will be that for the menus, store, and hideout. Not that many had issues navigating through it all before. It is just going to be a new way for you to handle things, and it might flow a bit better when you are taking out your targets on the go in the real world.
