It is now OFFICIAL! Square-Enix has confirmed that Chrono Trigger DS will be hitting the U.S. just in time for the 2008 holiday season. Kotaku broke the story with the official press release. It will incorporate the Dual Screen and Touchpad of the DS while keeping the integrity of the original game in tact. They will also be adding on a brand new dungeon for the upcoming DS release. You will also be able to hook up friends for wireless multiplayer battles. This is a great announcement for classic J-RPG fans. Below is the official press release from Square-Enix.
