The third main DLC for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is here and brings a completely new adventure to Wolfenstein II to kill even more Nazis in the world
The next DLC for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is here and we are now tasked with saving the world from another huge weapon the Nazis have built. Yes, this is the third and final DLC that Machine Games has put together for the Freedom Chronicles and now we get to take on the Deeds Of Captain Wilkins. All part of the Season Pass if you did pick that up, but as of right now it is available for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions of Wolfenstein II. You can also get this one “episode” by itself for $9.99 USD if you so wish, but seeing as they all seem to be linked a bit more than just the base game, it would seem odd to take the path. Just know that Bethesda offers it up for those who wish.
In this new Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus DLC, we take on the role of the titular Captain Wilkins as he learns about a new superweapon called the Sun Gun that the Nazis have built. He has “liberated” a new bit of experimental hardware and is going to use it to put another hole in the side of the enemy. It is what Terror Billy would do and Wilkins is part of the resistance here. Have a look at the new gameplay for Wolfenstein II we are going to have here and then get to downloading or purchasing the DLC as it is out there as you are reading this. I know I will be here in a few short moments…
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus — The Deeds Of Captain Wilkins
Gather ‘round, lovers of freedom! Following The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe and The Diaries of Agent Silent Death comes a third tale of heroism, courage, valor and good ol’ fashioned Nazi-killin’. The Deeds of Captain Wilkins, the final installment in the Freedom Chronicles trilogy, is now available. In this thrilling chapter renowned US Army veteran and resistance fighter Captain Gerald Wilkins travels to Nazi-controlled Alaska, armed with a stolen experimental battlewalker contraption, to stop a nefarious superweapon known as the Sun Gun.
How have you been enjoying all of the DLC that we have had for Wolfenstein II so far? Do you think that this will round out the whole story perfectly or will it leave it open for Machine Games to bring us another large expansion like we had in the previous title? Do you think we will need to use the battlewalker all the time in the game or will it just be a gizmo we can use as we wish? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss.
