Robin is finally on the case in Gotham Knights to show off how he will fight and move around in the world of Gotham Knights
The next big update for Gotham Knights is here with Robin jumping onto the scene to help out and show off a bit on how he will save days in the game. We have seen Nightwing from WB Games Montréal here for the game and how he will feel different from the others, so it is only fitting we go to Tim Drake now. Just to be certain we know for each character will have a different look, fighting style, and way to traverse Gotham once again. All to make sure that each of the Gotham Knights does not feel like a clone of each other with a new skin slapped on it. Not that we will not see some of that happening when the game hits the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on October 25th.
Just as we have seen in other videos for Gotham Knights, Robin will be just as acrobatic and agile as ever here. The bigger difference is that he is relying a bit more on old Justice League tech to help out with it all. Robin will have a short-range teleporter to help get around the area and manipulate things in the mix of combat too. Not only that, but it also looks like there will be some use of decoy holograms to help through everyone off the true scent and location we are at. It feels like a bit of an easy way to explain it all here for Gotham Knights but I think it will work perfectly for the setting. Have a look at what we have to offer up as well as a different look that Robin will be able to take as we are able to customize it all. It is another great showing for the game and I know I cannot wait to see more.
Gotham Knights — Robin Character
Warner Bros. Games and DC premiered an all-new trailer for Gotham Knights, the upcoming open-world action RPG in development by WB Games Montréal. The video features new gameplay and custom cutscenes of Robin, also known as Tim Drake, the youngest of the four knights and the third protégé of Batman to take on the Robin alias.
As an expert with his collapsible quarterstaff and a specialist in stealth techniques, psychological warfare, and deductive reasoning, Robin is a force to be reckoned with. Using teleportation technology from the Justice League satellite, Robin can zap himself across the battlefield, utilizing speed and surprise to his advantage in a fight. What he lacks in experience, he makes up for in natural intelligence, with detective skills that are on par with, if not even better than, Batman himself. Robin deeply believes that Gotham City needs a Batman and aspires to one day take up the mantle himself. And when the time comes, he will be ready.
Gotham Knights is scheduled to launch worldwide on Oct. 25, 2022. Please note, that to provide players with the best possible gameplay experience, the game will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC and will not be available for PlayStation 4 or Xbox One consoles.
Did you think that Robin was going to work differently in Gotham Knights or does this land about where you were expecting it to? What other Justice League tech do you think the team will reuse in the game or will it only be Robin doing that? Which character do you think we will see next in the mix and will they be saving another member for announcement in the mix? Tell us all down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all as you so wish. When we get more for Gotham Knights, you know we will share it all here for you. Please keep checking back in for all of that and everything else we have to offer up out there.
